I need help with flowers again. Coming up with ideas for our flowers we think we mainly want dark red, dark purple, and pink. My fiance does want some green in our wedding so I thought of adding in some small light green flowers (we’re planning my bouquet and basing the rest of the floral decorations off of that). I do think I want a dark orange tiger lily for symbolic reasons somewhere in the bouquet. Is this too many colors? We don’t really have a color scheme, we just want to make sure everything goes together.

It doesn’t sound like too much. And you don’t need every color in your theme in your bouquet.
Your florist should also give you tips… and most use some type of green as a filler.

We’ll more than likely be getting the bouquet and flowers for moms, dads, wedding party, and groom online (probably natural touch silk flowers) and I’ll probably be doing the simple arrangements for the dinner. We’re having a small wedding, not really decorating the ceremony spot since it’s already gorgeous, and it’s a restaurant reception (the walls are yellow) where they charge $35 a table for a very simple arrangement. Do you have any other ideas to incorporate green? I just want to make sure this is something he loves too and I know the dark red, dark purple, and pink for the bouquet are more so my ideas.

I used purple, lime green, bright yellow, orange and hot pink. Loved them! Didn’t at all feel like “too much going on” to me.
