My DH is thinking about getting me a new eternity band for Valentine’s Day. I have picked one out that is a half eternity with 10point diamonds with U shaped prongs. I absolutely love it. My question is will it be too much to wear with my ering, which is a split shank halo. I’d like to have the option of wearing them together or just one or the other depending upon the situation. I have included a picture with a comparable eternity ring (same size stones), although not the exact one. Is it too much bling? Not look good together? Advice needed, thanks!

I like it together. You can never have enough bling!

It really only matters what you think. For my tastes, it would be too much for me. But if you love it, rock the look! And congrats on the awesome gift from your DH ^_^

I think they look beautiful together! It may not be discrete, but it certainly isn’t “too much” either.

Too much bling?!! Is there such a thing? If my Fiance wants to buy me MORE diamonds, I will wear MORE diamonds LOL
I think it looks nice though, just saying:P

I like it a lot.
I was in the same position you are an ended up getting the half eternity band. I’m so glad I did now! And it’s definitely not too much bling for me 🙂

@csperry2: ooh, I love that!

@2boysmom: hmmm… I dunno… I think I’d like the rings on their own but I do think they look a little strange together. Perhaps its because they don’t lay flush together? Would you get it sort of bent into the e-ring setting?
As a side note, I have a 7-diamond wedding band and it is always slipping around and not laying perfectly spaced across my finger with the ering in the middle… which I should have known but oh well.
If you love it, go ahead and get it! Its most important that YOU are happy with it.

Do you like it? That’s the question you should be asking. Personally, I find that the different sizes of diamonds in the wedding band and the eternity band throw me off. Plus, as much as I love detail on my rings, pave settings are a bit busy IMO.

I think it looks very pretty with that band!

I like it. The more bling the better! If you think it may be too much, try and look for diamonds that are a bit smaller in size maybe.

@2boysmom: I think I would prefer it if the stones were closer to the same size as those in the band.

I don’t think it would be too much bling, but I don’t know if I like the one you posted. Maybe if the diamonds were slightly smaller on the eternity band it would look better.
