my wedding is in oct and we first settled with brown and kiwi green. we were going to have brown table linens and brown chair covers with kiwi green sashes and napkins. some people said it was to brown.
our other option for colors since my fiance likes bright colors are black, teal and hot pink. we did a design with black chair covers and table linens, teal sashes and hot pink napkins. but now im thinking its too black? i tried to come up with other ways so it wouldnt be too dark, so i came up with silver chiavari chairs with black cushions, black linen and teal and hot pink napkins. our centerpieces would be teal and pink.
i thought about it and the whole brown thing was a little too much. i do like the teal, black with pink but confused on how to go about with my reception set up. any ideas?

Do you have pictures of your venue?

I like the brown and kiwi idea. What about ivory chair covers instead to break up the brown? You could still have a brown sash.

Depending on your budget the silver chivari chairs would be a great way to break up the black in your color scheme. Depending on your location you can find chivari’s in virtually any color. I’m a former event manager and I’ve gotten them in both teal and hot pink before so it just depends on your budget and your location. The other great way to add color to tables aside from your centerpieces is a table runner or overlay. The napkins will look great when you first walk into the room but once everyone has used them the color will disappear. PM me for any help I’m happy to give free advice often just talking to someone who’s worked in the field helps to bring out some other ideas. Good Luck!

@missbeaglelove – no unfortunately i dont have pictures of our venue, its being held att he embassy suites in garden grove, ca. the colors of the room are i guess you can say normal banquet room colors or orange, browns, and what not.
@brianneG -at first we were thinking of gold chiavari chairs and brown table linens and green napkins, our centerpieces would then incorporate all 3 colors. but my fiance liked the whole brown and green chair covers and sash because we saw a wedding being done that way while looking at banquet rooms. we opted for the chair covers just to save money. i’ll include a picture of the hotel chairs that they use.
@cricket1524 – i also thought about a runner or overlay. im just trying to figure out what would cost less all together. we only opted using the black linen since its provided by the hotel so we’re trying to go around that since its free to us =) and yes i will PM you for more advice! thank you!
