I’m having a beach wedding in Mexico in February and am going in for my first fitting shortly. Lately I’ve been feeling a little anxiuos about seeing my dress for the first time and have thinking about the amount of cleavage I’m showing. (Photos below are from when I first bought it.) I’m a busty girl and very covered styles tend to make my breasts look even larger somehow, so a V neck dress seemed like a good choice so I could wear a real bra but also not seem quite so enormous.
Basically, does this about of cleavage seem okay to you or is it too over the top? The wedding is at the beach in Mexico and casual, so not at a church or anything, but also don’t want my guests to fall out of their chairs in horror.
Help a lady out. Thoughts?

First off, ur gorgeous and have a great figure! For me personally, its a bit much. I wouldnt show that much. But it depends on ur personality, and overall wedding feel.

@mmcdebbie: Your dress is beautiful! BUT, I might put in a panel or something to make that V a little less deep. You also don’t want to be thinking about that all night. PLUS, think about having to bend over to hug people. Do you really want your boobs all up in Uncle Tom’s face?

@mmcdebbie: Personally I think it’s too much; it’s not just the cleavage; there is a lot of boob on show, and the V looks to be cut very deep: to around or slightly below where the centre of your bra would sit.

You look great. but i agree with PP do you want to be thinking about “am i showing too much” all through your wedding day. Also think about when your dancing, or cutting your cake when you lean over to hug someone; are they gonna make their suprise debut to your wedding? (pop out) for me, i wouldnt show that much.

You look gorgeous and that dress is gorgeous, but in all due respect, to me it’s way too much cleavage…

@mmcdebbie: You do look fantastic in the dress…but it is too much cleavage for a wedding dress. For a normal clubbing dress sure….wedding dress? Too much. See if they can add a panel in the middle…even a lace panel to keep it sexy.

Could it be the type of bra you’re wearing with it as well? If you wore one with a lot of push up power that could be what’s putting it over the top. Personally I would try to tone it down.

I agree with PP. It’s a gorgeous dress but too much. Is there any way they can make the V less deep?

From the front, it looks ok although I would add a panel or something, but from the side it is way too much IMO. You look fantastic in it and have a gorgeous shape, but the girls are taking the focus off that shape.

I think it is way too much. I can literally see the entire side of your breasts. People cover their nipple and assume showing all of the rest is okay, lol. It’s your wedding so you can do whatever you want, but I personally don’t find cleavage showing in a wedding dress to look very classy.
I have very large breasts, so I will have this problem too.

@mmcdebbie: I totally understand your pain…as a fellow super busty gal, its really hard for clothes to fit…esp in that area. The problem folks don’t understand is although boobs are always fun *wink* we can either come off as sexy or slutty depending on the type/style of clothing. So I think this dress is gorgeous, but a bit too much. You can still have a V neck, but maybe not plunging. Although….I have the attitude, its my party and I can wear what I want to! HAHAHA!

Too much. Definitely too much. a little bit of cleavage is fine and can be sexy. That much cleavage looks a bit vulgar in my personal opinion, and this is coming from someone with large breasts (34D)
