@Bao: If AF doesn't show up by morning, I'd definitely POAS with your first morning urine. Good luck!
@Bao: if you really want to be sure, i would take your longest LP add 2-3 days and then test. if AF doesn't show until then, well, then your chances for a BFP are pretty high. good luck!
@bunnylovesbear: thanks! I'm just nervous bc I don't have any other symptoms, I've never been pregnant before and I know everyone is different but I read too much on the internet :)
@elchalten: Thats good advice so if I waited until Jan. 1st if AF has yet to show then it should be pretty accurate...
I was going to say wait until at least the day after tomorrow. If you had spotting yesterday it could've been implantation and it usually takes a couple days after implantation for HCG to get high enough for a test! New Years Day would probably be an even safer bet. Good luck!
@Bao: The best start I could think of :) The spotting is a really good sign. Be sure to report back after you test, whichever day you decide!

wait till a few days after AF hasnt showed. If you just has brown spotting and nothing else it you would need a few more days for your HCG levels to go up, if you test too early it could be a neg. I wish you the best of luck!!! keep us posted
You're all way more patient than me! I totally would've tested by now!
A little update for all of you: I got my BFP!!! There was a small amount of blood a few hours after my BFP, so I'm worried about that, but hoping its a sticky baby!
Congratulations!!! I wonder if the spotting could be implantation bleeding? Or some girls just have some light spotting when they'd normally get their periods all the way through pregnancy. Either way it's really early so I prob wouldn't worry about it just yet... just enjoy the good news!

@Booknerd: Well, 7 pregnancy tests later and all positive. I do not have a Dr appt until the end of this month to confirm, but I'd say chances are good :)

This is only our 2nd official (3rd unofficial) month TTC and I was so sad the last two months to see AF that now I am scared to test. AF was due yesterday and I had brown CM (looked like EWCM but light brown)...so I cried, thinking it was AF but it all the sudden stopped a few hours later and so now I'm wondering if my body is playing tricks on me... I have a pretty short LP, and I am about CD12.
Any advice? I really don't want to get my hopes up because I could just be late for AF, but I really do not want to see a negative test...
