Not too early at all. Do you have a regular hairdresser? Could they not do it for you?
I am probably not the person to ask, since I asked my hairdresser three months ago. Yes, that's right - a YEAR before my wedding. But I totally don't think it's too soon! :)
haha no, I don't have a regular hairstylist.. I wish. I get my hair cut so infrequently that usually I just wait and wait until it's like last minute desperate for a trim and I just go wherever I can get in quick. lol I know, it's pretty pathetic :)
Anyway, thanks for the opinions! I'll probably wait until after the holiday crazyness is over and give them a call after the new year.
You should def contact them and start doing hair trials. You don't want to have a bad do on your day
Go ahead and book. It's not too soon. Remember to give them a reminder call a month or so before the wedding.
NO! I worked at a salon and the sooner you book the better! Especially you if you have a bunch of girls. If you wait too long they might not be able to book all of you guys at the same time.
It's not too soon. I agree, the sooner the better. Otherwise they might book on the day of your wedding. Around here, in LA, some places book up to a year in advance for Saturdays. And Nicole has a good point; even if they are able to get you in, they may not be able to get your whole party in, or even get you in at the most optimal time.
Not too soon at all - hair appointment was one of the first things I booked - already booked the 1st hair trial too.

My wedding is May 29th, less than 6 months!! We have most of the major vendors booked, but I'm getting into the little ones now. I think I found a salon I like (just by chance I found out the girl who did my hair for my proms now owns her own salon, cute right?), and May is a busy time for weddings and proms, but I don't want to look crazy contacting them so soon.
So how far in advance did you contact &/or book your salon for hair and makeup?
