It doesn't look too spring-y to me, although I would have to make that decision based on whether or not it's warm enough. ;) If the bm dresses are very thin, then the season might be wrong.
No, I love it! What are you colors? I agree with spaniel--I'd just make sure the BM dresses are warm enough!
I looooooooove that dress and had total dress envy once I saw the JCrew 2010 preview! I think it would be very pretty and perfect for a rustic wedding.
The bridesmaid dress is adorable; I think just picking a darker color might be the key to making it look more appropriate for the season. You could always had a pretty wrap to the dresses as well.
No not at all. If it's "you" then it's perfectly in style.
i like it a lot. what color are you thinking for flowers? you can bring the more traditional fall colors in in other ways and that color will look good with them.
I think they would look great in the fall...just keep in mind the weather!
I think it's fine, but agree with PP...maybe a darker color for the BM dresses...?
No, it's gorgeous. I'd keep those colors even - they are a little rustic. I love it!
Thanks ladies...they are lovely dresses huh? And agree that with the right colors and flowers it could def be pulled off! :)
But cheerful makes a good point...it may be a bit cold. It will probably be low 50's during the day and could get as cold as the 30's night.
It all depends on the weather and the time of day. These dresses are too springy for a evening Fall or Winter wedding.
Really beautiful dresses but I agree that the bm dresses may not work very well with the weather. I don't know if I would want to wear a short, strapless dress at the beginning of October in New Hampshire. But other than that, I really love the dresses and the color!
not at all! the dresses are grey, right? awesome, neutral, and very fall appropriate :) if it's too cold, maybe give the girls a little cardigan? very pretty though :)
I am totally going for a look that might be interpreted as 'springtimey' for my October wedding. That dress is gorgeous!
Gorgeous! Just throw on a shawl when it gets a little chilly and all is good.
Are you going to be outside? Because if not, I would think most people would be wearing stuff in this same vein, right?
Also - LOVE the wedding dress.

Do you think think this look is too springy for a fall wedding? Its from the JCrew 2010 Spring Collection…I wonder if I should wait for their fall collection?
I'm getting married up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire next October 2nd and we're planning a rustic elegance theme to our wedding.
