I think it will look super cute! I wouldn't worry about it being overly thematic. You coulsoil those lace doily lanterns to give it a little something extra if you're worried about the theme.

So....partly because of budget and partly because of my outdoor ceremony site, I have decided to go with parasols for my girls to carry. I think they're so cute and they fit my budget much better than bouquets. Also, I feel like a bouquet could get overshadowed anyway in an outdoor flower garden. Anyhow. I've also been considering doing fans on the seats for favors and I am planning on using TONS of paper lanterns on the ceiling of my reception hall and possibly other places too. I'm worried that I'll look like I've decided on an Oriental-type theme... I'm trying to go more for a laid-back, fun, fresh look not necessarily a geographical theme. Am I over-worrying?? Thoughts on what to change?
