I thought I was going to absolutely DIE this morning when I woke up with cramps. And I was still coughing. But at least my head didn't feel like a balloon anymore!

I went and conquered the test! I got double what the practice tests were telling me I was getting!! I think they did that on purpose. I really can't believe I was doing so horribly on the practice tests, but so average on the total test.

Average is ok, for now, average is good. Average will get me to where I want to go since my other application things are strong.

I just wanted to say thanks to the hive for encouraging me! I only had a few friends who took them and could give me adive, but you guys rocked.

Can I ask what your score was?

I'm on the admissions committee for my graduate program right now. I'm the student rep and I'm with about 9 other department heads. It's interesting to see how opinions vary on the GRE scores. A lot of people don't really care about them that much. I usually put most of the weight on the quantitative score because our program is science. The only bad thing is if people have really really low scores. I'm talking under 20%. Otherwise if you have one 40% and the rest are better then you are generally still fine.

Yeah, so I'm sure average will be fine for you as long as the rest of your app is strong.
