I would most probably do option 4 because:
1)You love the two rings together and you should be able to have your wedding set on your finger!
2)I dunno about the silver/gold combo but it's probably not the best idea due to wear-down issues so get the new ring, in your size, in white gold with CZ.
3)And if you ever gain weight, you KNOW you can get the white gold resized easily so you don't ever have to get another ring after that. Yay!
Well, gold and silver DO look different, side by side. Gold is softer, and you still have to worry about your silver ring scratching your gold ring.
If you can afford it, i'd upgrade the CZ ring to gold. My cousin's wedding ring is actually gold and CZ, so I know people do this! And gold can be resized easier.
Thanks guys. That has def. been my runner up option. Because they aren't diamonds, I sort of wanted to keep the orginal ring in tact - just for sentimental purposes & bring it to a jewler to have them recreate it.
I have looked around and couldn't find the exact ring anywhere (so far) with white gold & CZ.
It doesn't bother me not to have the diamonds.
Thanks for your opinions.
Can you add a poll?
I would buy a cz and gold or wear on diff hands
So after tooling around on the internet for 5 minutes I found this:
http://www.czjewels.com/itemdetails.cfm?itemid=290&CFID=77734402&CFTOKEN=58942219
which looks almost exactly like the ring you posted. They do it in white gold as well as yellow. I have no idea regarding reviews or reputation or whatever but it's just an idea!
Well how is this for interesting ladies. I went to the site where he got my engagement ring, and it says that their sterling is rhodium plated.. which is probably why my silver and gold look VERY similar... hmm.
Ladies, i'm going to check out the links right now...
ja7975.. that is very close. My side stones are about .5ct each, but this is really close.
ejs: The asha is close with a different profile (beautiful!)
jwjewels has an amazing price

So some of you may have read bits and pieces of my story before.
Husband lost his job 2 years ago, and my salary was reduced. This was just as he was planning to propose, and due to a divorce a few years before we met, he had no savings. So we decided that it was more important to have a ring, than to have it be real - yes we decided this together.
So he got me a beautiful CZ & sterling silver 3-stone engagement ring. I love it.. still do.
So we went together and got my wedding ring. 14K White Gold band, 12 princess cut diamonds - 1 cttw... it's beautiful. I had planned to just wear it alone.
However, I LOVE the way that they look together. This brings me to my issue.
I have lost weight, so the wedding ring is a big large, no big deal, could have it sized. The engagement ring is WAY too big. And it's hard to wear it. I'm also concerned with the sterling silver, next to the white gold.. will this cause issues? So that leads me to my choices.
1. Wear the wedding ring alone and stop complaining. Then throw on the engagement ring for special occasions. We are going to have our vows read in the Catholic church in a year or so, and were thinking of getting another stackable ring to go with it. This is my number one option.
2. Splurge and buy the real ring to match the engagement. While this is an amazing option - this ring would run us about 6K-7K, and is NOT in our budget - so not really an option.
3. Buy the same ring as the engagement ring, just in the correct size - again issue with white gold and sterling.. how big of an issue is this?
4. Get a new ring with white gold setting & new cubic zirconia stones.
What would you guys do if you were me?
