Hello, ladies! I can’t decide between these two dresses. Which do you like? Here are some details so you can get an idea of the setting. Our Illinois wedding will be in Sept. of 2013. Both the ceremony and reception will take place outside at a manor. It has a brick courtyard and is surrounded by gardens.
The first: Maggie Sottero “Alaina.” I love the lace and sparkle and think it’s very flattering on me. I also LOVE the back. Two things: I would have the bow removed. And I couldn’t take a pic on the pedistal so it’s waaaay too long on me in the photos.
The second: Maggie Sottero “Deidre.” I was originally set on a strapless dress till I tried on the Alaina. I love the fit of the Deidre and the simplicity of the design. I would have the crystals up top removed and have the crystal belt sewn on. I don’t have a photo of the back because the dress was way too big, so the back was just covered in clips. It’s a corset back and has some sparkle on the right side that you can’t see in the photo.

Totally love dress #1 on you!

I absolutely LOVE what the first dress does for your figure! The second one is pretty, but it just doesn’t give that same effect that the first one does. I actually think the straps are stunning and it really helps to show your curves (don’t ask how, that’s just what it looks like to me, lol).
I also really like the bow on the hip, and how the bodice is. Not to mention, the size of the rouching really compliments your beautiful shape.

Dress 1 makes your figure more pronounced and is more sweet/innocent, but dress 2 looks sexier on you and your figure also looks great in it. Hard to decide. But that’s my take on how they both look on you. So it depends on what kinda of look you want to go for. Sweet or sexy?

I love dress 1 on you – I think it’s more “garden” than dress 2.
But they both look amazing on you! You can’t go wrong with either one.

I have never cared for dresses that go back and forth with fabrics, like the first one, which is why id pick dress two. However, dress one does look fabulous on you, and id choose that one otherwise! I know big help 🙂

I really LOVE the first dress, but I don’t like that it goes from lace to satin and back to lace.
I think that style works on you beautifully, and that you could find one in ALL lace that sparkles, too! So that’s my suggestion…
I do like the 2nd one, but it doesn’t wow me like the first does.

They both look great on you, but #1 is my favorite!

Wow, I think the second one does wonders for your figure! I would get it in ivory. It really flatters your chest and arms to leave them exposed. And the sweetheart neckline, gasp! So pretty.
The first one is a whole lot of dress, and I think your future children will be confused by the mixed materials on it.

I really love the first dress. I have since the minute you showed me the picture. But, I know you originally wanted strapless and I think you look beautiful in both of them. It’s a tough choice for sure but my vote is on dress #1 🙂

Maybe it’s just the size, but #1 is way more flattering and looks awesome on you!

I love the silhouette of #1, but hate the satin wrap. For that reason, I chose #2.

I picked 2. I think number one makes your shoulders look somewhat wide.

I don’t love the first dress. The random satin middle is throwing me off.

The Deidre is beautiful, but you just really can’t compare anything to that Alaina. 🙂
