So on a whim after trying on the Isadora Ann, my consultant told me they had a long version of the dress in the store so I tried it on. Now I’m absolutely torn between these two dresses that couldn’t be anymore different if they tried. Thoughts/Opinions?
They squished me into a 10 for the first dress, Isadora. And obviously the bust of the dress would need to be fixed. It looks like it’s trying to swallow my face, lol.
This is the Clarice dress.

They both look amazing on you.
What is your wedding going to be like? That may help me decide between the two.

LOVE the Clarice! So sharp!!

They’re both beautiful. And you’re right, they couldn’t be more different.
When you close your eyes and see yourself walking down the aisle, what dress do you see yourself wearing?

I prefer the 2nd one, the clarice, though they both look great. I like the cross ruching style of the clarice, its not only slimming, but unique. With the Isadora, the detailing in the waistline kinda chops your body in half, it doens’t flow as well as the clarice. But if your more of a lace girl it’s clearly the dress for you.
Which did you feel better in?

@KatNYC2011: We’re renting a big beautiful vacation home that sits on 8 acres and are planning a backyard wedding. Our decision to go with a vacation home instead of a more traditional venue and reception site was to keep it fairly casual. When people ask me what my theme is I joke and say I don’t have one, unless you consider classy backyard bbq a theme.
@Loribeth: It really depends on the day and how I’m feeling, I love the Isadora dress because it’s that big, beautiful wedding gown that I feel like a flower in it. So despite how much dress there is, I think it would be a beautiful dress for the wedding I envision. However, the Clarice dress is stunning in it’s own right. It’s so chic and I feel so glamourous and almost like a pin-up in it. And I felt so skinny in it, which is a huge deal for me because I’ve worked my butt off over the last year to lose weight and I was down 40 pounds when I tried the Clarice on, with another 25 still to go….but for the first time since I started to lose that weight, I actually saw it in the mirror.

You look stunning in both dresses, but youre right, they couldnt be more different. Either way you will make a gorgeous bride.

This is a tough one. I love all of the details on the Isadora Ann, and you look really good in it, but you look amazing in the Clarice. That being said, I think you would look amazing in the Isadora Ann when it’s in your size as well. I’m going to go with the Clarice, just because it’s a little more unique. But it’s really up to you. Do you want all of the details of the Isadora Ann, which would go with your backyard wedding, or the Clarice, which is simple, yet stunning?

The second one is a Knock Out!!!

I can understand why you’re torn! I think that given the description of your wedding, the Clarice fits better. But I think you feel more like a bride in Isadora based on the glowing way you talk about the dress itself, whereas it sounds more like you are drawn to the way the Clarice shows off your weight loss more than the dress itself. Go with the dress you like better in and of itself! You look stunning in both and I think either would be appropriate for your wedding. The Clarice is simpler and backyard-y, but lace always fits an outdoor wedding! Also, congrats on the weight loss. 🙂

I love them both but you are right they are sooo different. Honestly I would try on a few more dresses and see which ones you are leaning toward. Ie. are the majority super fancy or are they simple? My sister-in-law did this and it worked like a charm. She realized she wanted more glitz and wouldn’t be happy with a simple yet beautiful dress.

I love them both on you! But in my opinion, I like the flow of Clarice more. But what a beautiful skirt on Isadora! Hard to say…

They are both beautiful dresses but Clarice is just stunning on you!

I love #2 on you! They are both very pretty but #2 is more flattering
