@amanduh517:  First instincts, I like the one you booked most!  The others really aren’t cutting it for me.  Have you looked in google for wedding photos of each of venues?  Sometimes it helps to see the venues in action!

@amanduh517:  Yeah I’ll give you that in the venue you did book, the first one’s ballroom might be the least appealing, probably because how low its ceilings are.  I do prefer the tent in the first venue, but in comparison, I feel like the first venue has the complete value?

I would be in love with that first venue and would insist on the tent.  I think since wedding tents have the full coverings on the side, you should be okay.

All this being said, I have TOTALLY been here.  My husband had fallen in love with this PHENOMENAL ceremony location, but the ballroom looked a little bit like the one at Quail and I just wasn’t totally happy with it.  We ended up choosing a venue with a phenomenal ballroom instead.

    So basically…I guess I’m not helping! 🙁

Out of all the ballrooms, if you really want to know…I love the last one most. I feel like you can do the most with it!

@amanduh517:  If you choose the tent, is the ballroom available to you as your contingency plan?

@amanduh517:  Yeah that’s an awful lot of uncertainty to rely on! Let me see if I can find inspiration photos of what people have done with ballrooms like the one at Quail, see if that helps inspire you any. 🙂 Be back!

@amanduh517:  So, one of the first things I think most of us think of is draping.  It usually helps spruce up ballrooms.  Here’s one of my favorite photos:

    lights and drapings?

I’d also look into things like uplighting:

Those are my immediate thoughts. 🙂 If I think of more I’ll poke in!
