How do Bee meetups work? It'd be awesome if we could set one up in Toronto, Canada!
I moved this to the Toronto board for you! Basically you solicit the ladies on your local board to see if anyone is interested in meeting!
Hey OfficeBride! Arancia and I had a meetup in Mississauga last week but I'd love to do one in Toronto as well! We basically picked a location and posted a poll for potential dates. We had a great time!
I'm in already but what happens at these meet ups anywho!?!? lol

I'd love to meet up in the next month or so..... I need advice before I hit the bridal shops

Any suggestions of when and where to do it? I'm pretty easy but would prefer downtown if possible.
Downtown works fine for me, I work in the College Park area. I am fairly new to the city so if anyone can recommend a good meet up place? This month is busy for me, but I am sure I can find the time :). I am away Easter weekend, the 7th and the weekend of the 23rd.
Not so much. I don't know if there are enough of us for this to work.
Okay..... how about the first week in May? I have my first appointment to try on dresses that week so would be great to chat to talk to people about it! Someone already suggested the College Park area... is that any good?
College Park + first week of May is OK for me! (except Saturday evenings)
I'm up for a meeting but I have an insane time from this weekend until November, so when a date has been decided I'll be able to let you know if I can make it
good for me (week nights tend to be better for me, but if I'm only one out of a group don't worry about that)

Maybe some coffee shop? @Stormy - do you know any good places around there? Or we can always just meet at a chain coffee shop...
Unfortunately, I am fairly new to the area as well. I know there is a pub, Pogue Mahones inside College Park. There is also a chain coffee across the street, I think its a Timothys. There is also a Fran`s, a diner at 20 College St. They have good pie. :)
How about Pogue Mahones then? I think the coffee shops around there are quite small so at least with the pub we know there would be seats for us. Got my first appointment to try on dresses tomorrow so looking forward to meeting you guys and being able to talk all about it

I wish I could come! I really want to come! But I just had surgery and I can't do anything :(

@Yes, I've got shoulder-length blonde/brown hair, I'll wear blue jeans and an orange top and I've got an English accent so I'm easy to spot, lol. I've never been in that pub so can't suggest a place to sit but if we give each other little descriptions we should be okay!
