I am actually getting married there this August.  We are having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and recption all there.  What specifics would you like to know?

I went to a wedding there a couple years ago. It was a late morning/afternoon cocktail-style wedding and it was lovley! The food was delicoius, the service seemed really good from our point of view. i know our friends were really happy with it.

rodris6: We are very impressed with them so far!  We booked last March and in December they had a switch in event management.  January we did get quite nervous because of the miscommunication with the switch, but they have since reasured us and then some with their service.  Also, they are super flexible and we never got “no”.  We are not having dessert (using our cake), so we are getting a discount on our per plate, we are bringing in a personal late night snack and they are ok with it, they don’t charge for the extras (table linnens, clean up, etc).  

We are going for our tasting this Wednesday, I will let you know how it goes.  But if you are looking at the Gladstone, compared to the prices for downtown Toronto weddings, we are impressed and SOOOOO excited!!!!!

rodris6: So we had our tasting.  Everything is awesome and original.  Not the expected wedding food ut there.  See pics from our tasting, massiveservings.

Apps: mini burgers, cheese rice balls in cranberry sause, crab cakes with dill sauce (everything had fancier titles then I have described)

Salad: spinnach, almonds, cranberries, broccoli, lemon oil dressing

Main: glazed organic chicken with barley and purple kale or gluten free grilled striploin with cheese curd smashed potatoes and greens with mushrooms.
