So EVERYTHING but Honeymoon
$400 per head. 50 people attending
Also, sorry... maybe I should have done some above $500 categories... if you're in that category, please comment on your specific price!
Married on the MD Eastern Shore.
About $730 per person (not including our rings or my bridal look. If you added those, it would be more than $1k per person)
Includes:
@lovekiss: Eastern shore! I was looking at those. What venue did you use?
180 people, 70-75$ per head (i never really calculated an exact number for what we spent, but it was around 13,000, including everything but our rings and honeymoon)
@yanamari: We were married at the Inn at 202 Dover in Easton and used the Tidewater Inn as our room block for all of the guests. We took over the entire Inn, and it was soooo cozy.
Ours was in the $300-350 per person range that seems to be missing in your options. We had about 170 guests and our wedding was in Orange County, CA. This is excluding the dress, hair and make up as OP stated as well as our honeymoon, rings, and my day of jewelry.
For venue (all inclusive: tables/chairs, linens, china, food, floral, decor, and wedding planning), photography (2 shooters for 6hrs and a DVD of images), DJ (including a seperate ceremony set up), invites, beer and wine, we're looking at like $130 per person for $150 people.
I'm assuming about 150 will show up and that will probably end up being somewhere around $200-250 per person.
Thats venue, food, decor, photographer, DJ, photobooth, officiant, my estimate for the rookie bar, and even dress, DIY stuff, invitations, rings, etc. You said everything! If I stopped just before dress on that list it's probably more like $150-200.
I guess I am lucky, I am managing a wedding that makes me veru happy for more like $15-$20 per guest of 200. I am having an outdoor wedding and have many freebies
$666.58 per person. But I had two guests besides ourselves. So 4 poeple total.
This was for:
bouquet
boutonniere
champagne for dinner
three course wedding dinner
3 hours photography
wedding officiant and paperwork
H's ring
wedding planner (included in elopement package)
I did not include our attire, but that came to $1357 for both of our attire, head to toe.
Around $242 per person (possibly around $248 with some other minor expenses):
-Photography (9 hours, 2 photographers, all edited pictures on discs, engagement session, boudoir)
-Cake (3 tiers, buttercream, sugar peonies)
-Food (average $25 per person)
-Venue (rental, per person charge for open bar and all chairs/tables/linens, tax)
-Dress/Attire (dress, alterations, earrings, necklace, hair pin, shoes, suit)
-Flowers (bridal party, centerpieces, 2 larger displays)
-Extra decor (random things like cake topper, table numbers, etc)
-Gifts (bridal party, parents)
-Officiant
-Hair and makeup (trial, day of, also hair for BM and makeup for mothers)
-DJ (ceremony and reception, 7 hours)
-Photobooth (4 hours)
-Stationary (invites, rsvps, STDs, postage, Thank yous)
-Transportation (rental for bridal party/photos)
-Hotel rooms (day before for bridal party, day of for us)
-Rehearsal dinner
That is for 80.
Not included: honeymoon, rings, bachelorette party (air and hotel)
$83 pp for 150 person. I live in the Rockies where things are somewhat cheaper, plus we're doing a lot of DIY / casual stuff (wildflowers, buffet dinner, just wine/beer, etc). This does include a rehearsal dinner BBQ to which we're inviting the entire guest list as well.
this is only planned right now but so far:
$58 per person. Not too shabby :) Half of everything is also already payed for too!
-Photography 450
-Cake 100
-Food 1200
-Venue+ rentals 1000
-Dress/Attire 350
-Flowers 250
-Extra decor 75
-Officiant 150
-Hair and makeup 400
-DJ 100
Invites: 50
Okay so I epic failed on this poll. haha. Sorry guys for not putting more options above $500, and sorry for having a random brain fart and completely omitting $300-$350 o_O That's what I get for starting a poll with numbers when I should have been in bed for several hours by then! >_<
About $75 per person at 60ish people. (havent sent out the invites yet, but I'm banking on 60 people just to be safe)
@ella86: I am so glad to see your correction because I was thinking, did I seriously miss the recaps of a $300,000 wedding? :p
I said $100-150. No photography, restaurant reception (I just divided the food & beverage minimum to get an idea), cake is maybe $60-100 total, and I'll buy a few flowers from Whole Foods to make a bouquet if my mum makes me... We're only having like 10 people though so it's rather affordable for us in the end - we couldn't afford half as much per person if we were having a large wedding with all family and friends.
Looks like about $350 pp for 120 people. This doesn't include my r-ring.
I am at about $540/pp for estimated 120 people. Southern California. This does NOT include my dress (6k), our wedding bands (TBD), or honeymoon (TBD) or either bachelor/bachelorette parties. In my opinion wedding bands, honeymoon, and extra parties are not part of the "wedding" budget.
I actually feel like I am getting out ok for my area...Venue is a 5 star hotel right on the beach in Santa Monica, but I am pretty minimalist taste-wise and its such a beautiful venue my decor costs are very low. My mom and I also want to DIY some things (escort cards, maybe invitations) just for the fun of it. I also have a kickass wedding planner who has negotiated us some fab deals on photography, music, hair/makeup, etc., and being able to leverage her connections helped A LOT
I don't know mine yet, but from all the bee reading, I'm thinking the average is $100 per guest. and we know what "average" means.
aprx $2,000 a person ($8,000 with 2 guests and us). We are eloping to Las Vegas and having just a best man/maid of honor in attendance.
I subtracted things I feel are just for us:
-Hair & Make up
-Dress & Tux and accessories like veil and shoes
-Wedding Rings
-Pre-Cana (marriage counseling) costs
-Our hotel room
We are estimating 150 people and it comes out to about $175pp
Add all that stuff back in and it's $200.
Of course, there's still a lot of things left to see how reality compares to the estimated budget. But so far I've been really happy about how well we're staying on budget.
Not counting
Our wedding will cost $95 pp for 80 people. If you include the things above it is $150 pp.
@Pokemon: sounds about right .. coz i got similar cost/head as you ..=)
I also exclude honeymoon too
I'm from Australia, our costs per head (including everything - hair, dress, etc.) comes out to about $95/head for 150 people.
This doesn't include the honeymoon, because that'll probably be happening about 9 months after the actual wedding.

Excluding the dress and makeup/hair whatever, what was the total cost of your wedding per head with EVERYTHING included?
Like... take food, venue, tax, service charges, photographer, DJ, lighting, flowers, etc... whatever, and that price by how many people you had.
I'm really curious ^_^ Also if you could list where you live and how many people attended, that'd be nice!
