Um…if he’s the one who wants the wedding, why doesn’t he take the lead in planning it?  It’s not really fair to put it all on you!

For me, the first three tasks were intertwined: venue, guest list, and budget. Each one depends on the other two. Once you have that figured out, and a deposit down on the venue, it’s a good idea to book the other most important vendors – catering, for instance, and photography. It’s also useful to let your guests know the date ASAP – whether through word of mouth, email, or save-the-date cards.

welcome and congrats. dont worry…I was in the same boat as you and managed to plan my wedding all myself 🙂 

you really need to think of other things before you pick the place (BUDGET, catering, bar, theme, etc). 

next I would say would be your dress!
