    I like the first one better. The second gives off a prom dress vibe to me.

    I love the 1st one. I could see why an 11 year old would be the 2nd dress- while it is pretty, it is not nearly as flattering or stylish (reminds me of a prom dress). Its ok to pick what you want. You could always have her wear a colored version of dress #2 and tell her it looks much better on her! There are plenty of beaded bodesses and poofy toule skirts in colors and sizes fr 11 years olds.

    I love the 1st gown!  Is the second gown the Esme by Maggie Sottero? For what it’s worth, I tried it on several times, and found that the tulle on the bottom kept getting caught on the bodice, every time I bent over or moved. It was a paaaaain!

    I really love the first dress. I think it’s very flattering on you. The second dress is pretty but it just doesn’t strike me as much as the first one. I think the second one is a bit more “princess ball gown” which could be why an 11 year old girl would like it more. 🙂

    @Bribaby119:  I don’t like the silver chunky look to #2. I voted for #1.

    @Bribaby119:  i like #1.  it’s a perfect silhouette for you.  i can see why an 11 year old would love the other dress.  it’s like a lovely princess dress.

    @Bribaby119:  that is a god idea! I know step relationships can be fragile, especially if they are new. I think anyway to include her (which clearly you have been, if she went dress shopping with you already) is amazing.

    @Bribaby119:  I understand wanting to incorporate her help. Maybe she can pick out a reception dress for you, or maybe help you with the accessories for either or?

    I love dress #1 on you, but I can totally see why she loves #2!  I’m pretty sure that was my dream wedding dress at that age. 🙂 That being said, I don’t think you can go wrong – you look beautiful in them both!
