Does anyone know of some good quality, large towels?
I am wanting to got some as a gift for my S.O. This is all he has asked for for Christmas so I want them to be nice. Nice doesn’t have to mean expensive, but if they are a little higher in price that’s ok.

I was really surprised because I got these huge fluffy towels at Wal-Mart. They are the better homes and gardens brand and they are great. Fluffy and soft and wash well. We have some target ones that have fallen apart and faded but these are much better. Also not $$$

We have Ralph Lauren bath sheets that I think we bought 7 years ago and still love.

We just use the big fluffy towels we get at the PX…. I don’t think they have a brand. Not-BF and I just call them “Fluffy towels” and we call his boot camp towels “Shitty towels.”

We use the bamboo towels from CB2 which is a branch store off of Crate & Barrel. Love them!
And today we just bought some highly rated towels from the Hotel Collection from Macy’s. They are on sale today 50% off and are rated as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things. They come in the larger bath sheet as well.

@baletrina: Yes! Now that you say that I thought I remembered some really soft towels made of bamboo but I thought maybe I imagined it lol

I don’t like what they’ve done to their furniture in the last few years, but I like Restoration Hardware towels.
Just never use fabric softener on them to keep them fluffy. 🙂

Hotel Collection bath sheets are gorgeous, and so so worth the money! We got a full set for our bridal shower.

@hfwildcat: I agree with @pengoala and @Mrs. Eagle. The Hotel Collection towels are fab. We got them for our wedding as well. One of my coworkers said she had those towels for 7 years! My only advice is don’t buy them at full price. Macy’s has tons of sales (the friends and family sale is coming up next week, I think). I won’t buy stuff from Macy’s Home unless it’s on sale 🙂
ETA: If you’re looking for LARGE, get Bath Sheets. DH loves them, and I promised that when we move into a home, I’d buy him a couple, since we’ll hopefully have more storage space than we do now!

I also use the Better Homes & Gardens towels from Walmart and love them. We have other crappy towels but we always go for the fluffy ones from Walmart.

@hfwildcat: I love love love the bamboo towels from CB2. Not only have they lasted (bought about 3 years ago) but they are soft and super absorbent. Make sure not to use fabric softener on them. Bonus is they come from a sustainable source. 🙂
We got them in the grey and it is a true charcoal grey. 15% off until Tuesday! Here is the link: http://www.cb2.com/rayon-bamboo-channel-grey-bath-towels/f7371
