Hey there Bees. Im trying to up the ante on my workouts. I workout at least 5 days a week for 45 min to and hour but i wanna try something different than my boring old elliptical and strengthing moves.

Has anyone tried The Tracey Anderson Method? I know Gwenth and Madonna both do it. Does it work?

also anyone have any fun diet tips to share?

I have seen Tracey Anderson dvds but they look expensive.  Have you heard of Zumba dancing?!  I love it and many other people do to even if they don't dance.  Its been hot here so my treats have been frozen blueberries.  Full of antioxidants, cool you off and kill the sweet tooth I have!

LOL... I guess she didn't think of the fact that in order to Zumba Dance you'd either need to take a class or buy a DVD.

ANyways, I've seen and used some methods that Tracey Anderson uses, and I will say that I'm pretty impressed. I wouldn't use her stuff as the only thing in my repertoire, but the DVDs would definitely be worth it.

If you want to maybe check out some snippets, there are a ton of YouTube videos of her and her bootcamps and workouts. :-)

Hey @vikingprincess! I've been wanting to try Zumba for a while actually. Is it pretty freestyle? I do bad with anything with a sequence cause I get lost. That's why Tracy Anderson intimidates me a bit.

@fiya yeah I checked out her snippets and I can do the isolated movements but not the dance stuff for the reasons stated above. I want a very low resistance but high impact workout so I can burn fat without bulking up.

I like the Tracy Anderson mat work outs because they're physically challenging but easy to follow along. I have her dance cardio dvd and I think it's impossible :) I have to re-watch her showing the routine a million times and when I think I get it, her "normal speed" is ridiculous to me and I can't keep up.

I have really poor mind/body connection..
