Good luck!! My FH is also Korean and we are having a Jewish ceremony here in the states (his parents, aunt, uncle and cousin - who will be one of my bridesmaids, and possibly his grandparents will come here for that) and then his parents are hosting a traditional Korean wedding in Korea a few months later for my family and all of his side of the family that couldn't come to the first wedding. I can't wait! I think his mom is going to take care of my hanbok (she's also getting one for my mom and sister-in-law). So great that you are trying to incorporate Korean tradition into the ceremony :) We are going to Korea in December for a few weeks. Can't wait, its been awhile since I've been there (and I'll be able to bring FH's cousin's bridemaids dress with me instead of shipping it - which would've cost A LOT lol).
@RhubarbPie: I think I'm going to ask my FMIL to bring over hanboks for myself and my mother when they come over for the wedding, too :) Haven't had any luck here ($$). My FPIL are also planning a wedding for us in Korea after our ceremony here!! I lived in Korea for two years, but we haven't been back for over a year now and I miss it SO much. We think we'll head back for a couple of weeks before our ceremony here (i would like to pick up some things over there for the ceremony here, too). Exciting! Thanks for your reply... i figured that not many people would have this in common with me!

Hi Bees!
My FH is South Korean and I'm bringing in as much Korean culture into the wedding as I can (my FH was born and raised there and we met while I lived in Korea for 2 years - the Korean culture means a lot to both of us). My future in-laws are coming over for the wedding and I'd love to incorporate a traditional tea ceremony into the reception.... and would LOVE to wear a hanbok, a traditional Korean dress, for the tea ceremony. Just wondering if any of you Korean brides or those who married Koreans have pictures of yourself in a hanbok? or have any website links of places to order hanboks (it's quite expensive to have them made - even in Korea).
Thanks!
