@josynix:  i think a traditional wedding depends on your culture and how your family has done it in the past. For instance, being of italian background a traditional wedding for us would have been a big guest list (im talking 500 + people), a big and fancy reception venue, traditional music, catholic church ceremony, and the way in which the reception runs.

Needless to say, we ended up having a destination wedding … 9 guests haha. far from traditional, but we wouldn’t have done it any other way 🙂

Here’s what I think when I ponder a “traditional” wedding:

-Large and long church ceremony

-Fancy reception with tons of guests

-Awkward seating arrangements

-Huge bridal parties

-Bouquet Toss

-Garter Toss

-Parents dances

Like the PP, FI and I are abandoning all of those traditions and having a very small, intimate wedding.
