I didn’t because we were doing the middle school shuffle and we would have ended up wrapped in train.

My dress was very full on the bottom so my bridesmaids bustled me up before the reception because I also changed shoes and I didn’t want to trip.  I kept the veil on all night.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  I’m not bustling my train…the best part of my dress is the train so I’m keeping it down all night!

I have a chapel length train and I’ve been debating whether to keep it down for the first dance too for pics… just cause I love it so much!!

PP should post pics if they left their trains down for the dance, so I could see what it looked like! And comment on if it got in the way!

I’m going to have mine bustled during the dance. Fiance isn’t the most coordinated dancer and I can see him accidentally stepping on the train and hearing a loud rip… haha


Also, I won’t be wearing my veil. It is cathedral length so I’d have the same qualms as with the train!

I bustled mine for our first dance because we choreographed it and there was no way I was going to be able to do everything with my train down…

But I did have my train down for our private last dance.  We did get a little wrapped up in it when we tried to turn but it did make for a really pretty first few pictures.

And after getting a little wrapped up:
