Just thought I’d share because I can laugh about it now (kind of). We just got a new puppy and he is perfect. We are potty training him and he is doing awesome.
The only problem… My husband! Three times so far he took the puppy out and they come back in, hubby says “He didn’t have to go” and puts him on the floor. What does puppy do? He pees. Seriously is my husband trying to drive me crazy he is the one I need to train.
Has anyone else had to deal with being the smarter one in the relationship? LOL I kid, I kid.

LOL! I hope your FI also cleans up the mess!
With us and our pet, it’s also my FI who needs training.
My cat is kind of a brat… he meows and meows for food and we’re trying to break him of the habit by not giving in until he’s quiet. Whiel FI can’t handdle the meows and ALWAYS feeds him. So kitty thinks he has to “tell” us when he’s hungry and he’ll get fed.
But I also taught kitty something terrible yesterday. He’s not supposed to go in our basement, but ran past me one day and instead of going downstairs to haul his ass back up I just shook his treats….
Now everytime I open the basement door he zooms down there thinking he’ll get treats when he comes back up.
Who says cats arent’ smart? I often feel like the cat has US trained.

@mchitt329: Yes I do think animals train us much more then we “train” them
