MrsRichard:  I would finish the associates, if possible. The core may be different in the state you’re moving to and those differences may be waived if you already have the AA.

MrsRichard:  I know that a lot of the schools in WA/OR use the quarter system, so that may also affect your decision.

Will this be a military transfer?

MrsRichard:  I would talk with a counsellor or someone in admissions and ask them which is the most efficient for you.

Once you transfer you’ll probably need to take a couple of lower level classes regardless, I got my AA and had to do that, and I transferred  in-state from a community college to a public university.

But if you can take the classes you need online, you might as well 🙂 Once I fulfilled my transfer requirements I only needed a PE class and a social studies class to get my AA, so I took them during summer school. For me it didn’t really make any difference but it’s kind of nice to be able to put it on my resume and it made my mom happy.
