Hey plaintains! Sorry, didn't see this before now. I got a quote from these people: http://www.legendslimo.com/ - they have a branch in East Lyme, which is pretty close (less than 20 mins from Branford House). We wound up not getting a limo - it just wasn't important to us. My Prius was our getaway car! hehehe.
Hope this helps! (The quote from these people was pretty reasonable, I think.)
Thank you so much mak418, as usual you are a star!
Heehee! Feel free to PM me, too, if I don't catch your posts on here quickly ... I don't check the local boards as often as I should.
I know that I wouldn't do Lindsey Limousine. They put a huge sticker with thier name on the back of the car. I just don't like how it looks. You want people to be seeing you get into the car not noticing were you rented it from.
Just my 2 cents
I used Legends. They were great. We also used them as a car service for people that needed to get to and from the New London train station. We did our buses through DATTCO.
DATTCO : http://www.dattco.com/
It's a bus company out of New Britain - a little bit of a hike, but not too bad, about 45 minutes from Groton.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I am hoping the CT bees can help me here. I am getting married at Branford House next year and had been planning to have both th eceremony and the reception there. It is now however looking like we might have to get married in a church and have the reception on ly there instead. This means I will need to find a relible and inexpensive transport comapny for a bus, car and limo. Any suggestions about where to even begin would be greatly appreciated as I am not from the area.
