We had a hard time figuring out what we were going to do for transportation because there are no limo services in our area, the closest place is over an hour away! Luckily, our caterer also has party buses so we are using one of those for transportation for the wedding party to the ceremony and also for the guests to the reception if they want. I also thought about Enterprise because we get a discount through my job with them, the only problem with them is that they cannot guarantee you any certain vehicle or color. I knew I wanted a white or ivory luxury vehicle to arrive in the ceremony in but the only they told me was that they would a luxury car available but didn't know what it would be. Then about a week ago my fiancee's aunt bought a brand new pearl colored Chrysler 300M, that is absolutetly gorgeous!! She was thrilled when I asked her if we could use her car and said it would be waxed and ready to go for us!!! Whew, crisis averted!! If you don't ready any rental places nearby then I would ask a family member or friend with a really nice or unique vehicle if you could use it. But if you don't have a specific vehicle in mind than Enterprise could also be a way to go, Luxury vehicles were about $80 a day when I called them. Good luck to you!
I rented a school bus from Laidlaw. It fit about 50 people, and was only about $400 for 6 hours and it came with a driver. That was in Syracuse, but I think they are in other parts of Upstate NY, too.

Finger lakes winery tours has trolleys you can rent and I think they are so cute! They seat around 25 people so I'm not sure if that would be enough for you. We rented the trolley limo for our Ithaca wedding and a party bus for a pre-wedding wine tour. We were extremely happy with the service and the price.
Does anybody have any recs for Rochester area buses? ALL of our guests are from out of town and a few are elderly, so we'd like to rent something, nothing fancy.

Hi all,
I'm looking into ideas for 1) shuttle buses for our guests between hotels and the venue and 2) a special car for Mr.GV and me (though I think we might just rent something cool from Enterprise). I haven't had much luck with Google searches and cnyweddings.com... Google is too vast, and cnyweddings doesn't really have much to offer in that category. w/r/t the shuttle buses, we don't need anything fancy... the cheaper and more efficient, the better. Does anyone have any leads? Thanks!
