maybe you can arrange for carpooling with people who plan to drive to and from the wedding site. it's also a great way for your guests to bond, just make sure that everything is organized and there is someone in charge of making sure that assigned persons get to ride the assigned cars. you can also provide alternative transportation as a backup.

We're having a small wedding (less than 60 people) and some guests are travelling to burlington and since the venue (the essex) requires 2 nights min reservation for their hotel rooms, most of our guests will not be staying there.
Should I provide the guests with free transportation? I'm worried that it might be too pricey...
