Usually, the dress is perfectly fine afterwards -- just needs a cleaning!
Check out http://philadelphiatrash.blogspot.com/ for some inspiration -- the Bruschetta photographer's part of this team...and I'm sure you could find similar near you!
We are doing a day after session that is going to be more fashion photography oriented, than focused on trashing my dress. We are going to be walking aroung the streets of San Francisco - going to my favorite bar, the place he proposed and other scenic sights. I expect my dress to get a little dirty, but nothing that can't be cleaned.
I've seen some amazing pictures of brides and grooms in the ocean. Or in the mud. It looks like a lot of fun. If you are going for something like that, it's possible that the dress can't be cleaned. Trash the dress lite allows you to have the pictures and the dress.
Yea I think that is my main concern. I want to do it, but I also want to keep my dress:) Thanks for the tips ladies!

Clearly over the past couple of years this has been a popular trend. I have been considering it, please some of the pics I have seen have been gorgeous and it looks like a lot of fun.
I am really considering this but would love to hear from everyone else if you are planning on doing a trash the dress session after your wedding and also what do you do with the dress afterwards. Do you keep it for memories and etc.. or is it like the title "trashing the dress"
