I think that would be a good idea to get another dress. Honestly, you probably won't be getting any detail shots of the dress when you are trashing it so no one will know that it will be different.
you could have your dress recreated in china for cheaper? think about that?
Ooo a china dress is a great idea! I wanted to do the same w/ my dress but love it too much. Maybe I'll look into that.
Does anyone know of reputable China co.'s that do good job's on dresses?
I trashed my wedding dress and it awesome! I didn't know if I could go threw with it but best decision ever. When will you really ever wear your wedding dress again???? I loved my dress and took full advantage of wearing it and trashing it. So much fun!!!
@Venessa: after trashing it, what did you do with it? was it completely... trashed I guess the word is? I would love to do a trash the dress but don't want to ruin the dress completely. I love your photo though!
Yes, my dress is pretty much trashed. We had photos taken on the cliffs in Jamaica and I got a bunch of runners in the butt area b/c I was moving back & forth on huge rocks. Some of my flower colors bled on my dress when we got them all wet. But, I can honestly say it was all worth it. I loved every minute of it and it makes for awesome photos. I haven't gotten my dress cleaned so not sure if the stains will come out.

I will probably just keep my dress hanging in the garmet bag. It is "trashed" but no way I can discard of it. My beautiful Tara Keely dress was not cheap and I still think it is beautiful.
I don't think I could trash something that cost so much money! Will probably keep or re-sell :)

I love love love trash the dress sessions, but I don't think I'll be able to destroy my beautiful ballgown. so I was thinking of buying a dress off of oncewed.com, ebay or craigslist for super cheap to do the TTD session... what do you think?
How many of you did TTD with your real dress, did anyone do it with a second dress?
