My husband and I were just invited to a travel-themed couples’ shower. We’re supposed to bring a gift related to travel. I have no idea what we should get them! Any ideas are welcome!!
Btw, they are going on their honeymoon in Greece!

Travel bags, travel size toiletries, gift cards to get photos developed. I don’t know about Greece but you could try to go online and get them a giftcard to a nice restaurant or sight seeing excursion there. Other things would be a “airport kit” with a book or magazine, some snacks, stuff to kill time waiting for planes. A really nice photo album or picture frame for the photos when they get home.

are they registered? they might be registered for luggage…that could be helpful…

A gift certificate to a local outdoor shop that sells travelwear. Passport wallet or a travel comfort kit including body glide (saves your feet and thighs and everything when walking long days as tourists in the heat). Really awsome travel socks (thin smartwool ankle socks are my best friend). You think Id have more ideas since I use to work at a shop that sold travelwear and accesories.

@smcs28: They are registered for luggage but that’s more of a wedding gift since all items cost over $150. Nothing else is travel-related. :o(

Greece. Wow. Jealous.
I got some things as a gift for my parents before a big trip a few years ago – travel wallet, travel journal, travel emergency kit (you know the hotel will only sell bandaids for, like, $5 each), etc. I’ve gotten some nice things from Travelsmith:
And you can’t go wrong with a good guidebook. Lonely Planet does great ones.

@RahlyRah: Agree with this. They are likely going to get lots of the items mentioned being that it is travel themed and you really only need so many passport covers. But Euros would be useful for their trip and thoughtful that you went and made the exchange.
