@Soon2BD-CBee:  sounds like a cute theme, and well thought out too. Love the idea of luggage tag style invites.

We’re doing a travel theme, too! For our save the date cards, we made boarding pass Save the Date cards, and we’re sending them along with small balsa airplanes. I made custom stamps for the planes that had our names and date on it…and strung a banner behind them that used the stamps, too. They turned out really fun! I even made the envelopes look like air mail envelopes in our wedding colors.

All in all, I think all your details sound great!

Our colors are mint, aqua, teal and champagne. Our venue overlooks like ocean, so I wanted to incorporate ocean colors. My dress is champagne, and the bridesmaids are wearing Alfred Sung dresses in Niagara. It’s a really bright, vibrant blue color.

The cool part is, the blue colors tie in with globes and/or maps…so we are going to incorporate globes into our decor as well…I saw some amazing painted and chalkboard globes on pinterest. We’re going to try and make a variation of those–possibly as our table numbers/part of our centerpieces. For flowers, we’re also going to use champagne colored dinner plate dahias, orchids and succulents.

Hey!  We’re having a travel themed wedding.  We live in Australia but will be having our wedding back home in the UK (planning from 10,000 miles away!).  Wer’re planning a winter wedding so coulours will be deep berry/red wine colour.  I want to keep it very rustic and “oldy worldy”.

Your ideas sounds fabulous!

@Soon2BD-CBee:  Used instead of a seating plan. The guests pick up the card at the entrance to the reception to find their table assignment.
