Anyone?? I am sure lots of you Aussie bees must have been to Fiji!
My husband and I were in Fiji last year from the end of April to the beginning of May and the weather was BEAUTIFUL and we were there for 9 days. I don't have a recommendation for a place to stay since you aren't looking for a resort. However, if you chnage your mind abuot the resort route we stayed at Tokoriki Resort and it was beautiful, personal, and the staff was wonderful! We also went island hopping and compared to the other resorts we saw Tokoriki was definitely the nicest. Anyways, good luck with planning!

Hi Bees,
So my husband and I are trying to plan a trip to Fiji from March 24 - April 9th. Problem is, it looks like it still might be the rainy season there at this time. Most weather data indicates the weather can go either way. There is also still a risk of cyclones during this time as well. We would definitely purchse traveller's insurance.
I wondered if any bees have travelled to Fiji during the months of March/April, and if you got some sunshine on your trip. I would be really disappointed if we shelled out money for this trip (plus its a mega long plane ride) and it poured for 2 weeks.

Also, we are not planning on staying at a resort. If you don't think Fiji is in the cards, what non-resort tropical desination would you recommend?
