My husband and I are crazy avid travelers. We've each been to over 20 countries, and are taking time off of our careers later this year to travel through China, Japan, Borneo/Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam over 6-7 months later this year. I can't WAIT!! Oh, and we are going to Iceland in June of this year as well!
I'd love to see more of South America (only been to Ecuador and Brazil there) and Africa (been to Senegal, Cape Verde, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa, but realllly want to go to Kenya and Tanzania!).
We're saving more Europe trips for retirement (we've each been to around 5 countries in Europe). The castles will still be there in 40 years....we want to experience the dynamic Asian and South American development!!
We want to go to SO many places. Stupid life, work and $$$ get in the way!
And I have to agree the beer in Germany is crazy good!
I really want to hit Southeast Asia next, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Korea etc
I love travelling. My husband and I came from families that didn't have a lot of money growing up, so now that we both have good jobs and no children, we are travelling as often as vacation time allows!
Our first trip was to Costa Rica. It was so beautiful there, and I would love to go back one day. We have also been to Hawai'i, France, and Italy, and a road trip down the Western Seaboard of the USA (Washington, Oregon, California). Right now we are planning a trip to Fiji/New Zealand. We also do a lot of local travelling to the Gulf Islands near Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and the Interior of BC.
Places I am definitely visiting? Belize, Thailand, Japan, Spain, Portugual, Austria, Switzerland, Scotland, Ireland... the list goes on. I think our next big trip will be to Japan (after doing Fiji). This summer we are doing a sailing course/vacation around the Gulf Island to begin the process of getting our certification to sail. Our life goal is to sail a boat around the Mediterranean.
My mom keeps begging me to have kids now...but I am having too much fun travelling to think about kids quite yet!
FI and I love traveling. We've both been to Mexico, but before we met. Our first big trip was to Japan, and we've been to Spain and Portugal, all over the States and Canada, and we're going to Ireland in a month. Our HM will be in NZ, and we've got lots more travels planned for the near future!!!
I've been blessed to have the opportunity to take a couple of different international trips and I can't wait for another one. I LOVE travelling and seeing new places, especially those whose culture is so different from my own.

I'd love to take a trip all over Africa someday as well as a trip all throughout Europe. I also dream of someday taking a cruise to Antartica!
Ooooh yes, I have the travel bug. My favorite place is SPAIN! But I have been to Europe a few times, and want to branch out into Asia or Latin America (have only been to Mexico and Costa Rica). All I can say is that FI and I have agreed that we will plan to take a few years to travel often until we're ready for kids. And then when the kids are old enough, we'll travel with them!

@southerntransplant: Spain is my favorite place too! My mom is from Madrid. DH travelled with my family to Spain twice before we got married. We're dying to go back.
But we're going to Jamaica in May for a wedding. And after that, I'd love to visit Paris (have never been!) and some European ski resorts.
My mom spent a summer in Austrailia while she was in college. When she tells me about her summer there I sigh and wish airfare wasn't so expensive! She told me the food and the wine was her favorite.
I've traveled in a lot of countries (I think 30?) but honestly, some of the best trips I've taken have been here in the US. The diversity here is exceptional.
My favorite trip was probably when I rode my bicycle from Virginia to Seattle...what an experience.

Have you been bitten by the travel bug? What's your favorite destination? What is on the top of your bucket list?
I'm going to sound like a broken record but the bier in Munich is crazy good. Way better than in the US. No preservatives = delicious! Oh and a pretzel with the mustard! It's not like the mustard here, its sweet but not like honey the honey mustard we have here.
We plan on going to go to Belgium in a couple years. Hello chocolate! :)
