Okay, so I’ve got on my revlon colorstay (I will be substituting it for Estee Lauder Double Wear ) Also, I have on a random pink lipstick (I will be substituting it for Mac Hug Me) OH and I don’t have on fake eyelashes which I KNOW is a must. What does everyone think? I’m thinking MAYBE heavier on the top liner? Can’t decide. It’s amazing how photos can make even pretty heavy make up practically disappear.
Another note: The wedding will be ourdoors
Here’s the lipstick:
and here is the make up with indoor lighting
And here it is up against a window with sunlight

I would fill in your brows a little bit more, honestly, so that they’re a stronger frame for your eyes. What kind of look are you going for? Right now, you’re very soft and natural. If you want more drama, try contoring and highlighting your face with some bronzer and luminizer in order to play up your good bone structure. I’d also think about working a darker shadow into the crease of your eyelid in order to give more depth to your eyes, something in the matte and neutral category, and be a little more generous with the liner to give your lashes some more punch. A dap of lip gloss in the centre of your lips will also give your lips the appearance of being fuller. But overall, it’s a nice, really light, really natural look.

You look beautiful! I love the soft and natural look! 🙂

I love the natural look! Brows a bit darker, but thats it. You look great

Gorgeous but I would personally do more lips. These lips won’t show up in photos at all and you may look washed out. Just a hint more pink will show up much nicer.

@wynnetaylorwedding: I think it looks great! I love how natural it looks. Another bee suggested using a slightly darker lipstick and I kind of agree.
Just a side note…you mentioned you’ll be switching to EL Double Wear. Do you already have this? I ask because they recently changed the formula and from all the reviews I’ve read, it is horrible. I’m highly upset about this because this was my all time favorite foundation and I’m almost out of my current bottle which is the old formula. So I would recommend going to the EL counter and testing out the new formula before your wedding day.

@wynnetaylorwedding: Looks gorgeous and it’s a good start. I would go for a more dramatic eye – Dior Blackout mascara is my favorite. I would also add a darker brown matte color to the outside corner & crease of the eyes for more definition. I also like MAC’s liquid liner but I apply with an angle brush. A good lipliner would help make the lips more dramatic along with some gloss. I got something very simliar yesterday from MAC so I can update with those colors when I get home if you would like. Also, I would add some countouring a bit to the cheekbones and like the other ladies said, fill in your eyebrows. You’d be surprised how much that can help change your look.
Pictures wash your face out big time. I applied SO much makeup (blush, contouring, & bronzer) when we did our engagement pictures that I felt a little silly – yet it was FLAWLESS in all pictures!
I would recommend going into a MAC store or counter at a department store & have them help you achieve your look. They can show you how to do it on your own as well for the big day 🙂
Good luck 🙂

You look gorgeous! I’d just fill in your brows a bit and maybe go a bit darker on the eyes.

I think it looks really beutiful but for your wedding you might want to amp it up a little more. I definitely agree with PP about filling in your brows more. Brows are one of the most important things for a bride because it frames your face and draws attention to your eye. I would add a darker color in your outer v of the eye just to add more dimension and drama to the eye. I think false lashes would look great as well. I think your cheeks & lip color look great. Very natural and if you amp up your eyes then your eyes will definitely take all the focus.

@IzzyBear: Oh no! What a shame!! No, I have yet to try it, but I heard so so so many good things about it! What will you be switching to?

@IUrebekah3RT: Yes, I would love love love that!

@wynnetaylorwedding: Gosh you are just gorgeous! For the sake of pics….I’d do a darker lip. I think your cheeks with the blush is perfect! I’d also define the eyes a bit more with a darker crease, fill the brows with a bit of brow powder, and add some false lashes just to make the eyes pop!!

@wynnetaylorwedding: I love the old formula. It was seriously the best foundation I’ve ever used! I haven’t tried the new one but all the reviews are bad so I’m scared. I’m going to try “Tarte – Amazonian Clay 12 hour foundation”. My cousin uses it and she really likes it and all the reviews are good. I’m going to go to Ulta and try a sample. Hopefully it will be a good substitute for EL Destination Wedding

Thanks to all of you!! I’ll redo all the suggestions today and try to post this afternoon 🙂

@wynnetaylorwedding: I think you look lovely as is, very natural and fresh. For pictures, though, I agree with PPs that said more oomph on the brows and slightly darker on the eyes, just a shade or two though. Once you have the false lashes on your eyes will pop with less makeup and I prefer more dramatic lashes rather than very dark shadows.
I love the lips as they are, either in the picture or Hug Me. Perhaps with a slightly rosier/slightly darker lip pencil underneath (the whole lip, not just the outline) to give a shade darker?
