Weddingbee boards

I decided to use a makeup artist mainly because I needed to find something to do to fill my morning before I had to be at the wedding location at noon. I am the type of bride that needs to be doing something...too much free time, means too much time to think about how nervous I am that all those people will be looking at me! So enters makeup artist...

First experience with Makeup artist #1 was yesterday...NOT GOOD! She said she used airbrush makeup so I thought wonderful! I will look flawless! She also said she was trained in false eyelashes & used a very good company that look much more real... Well I left there not real happy! The airbrush I felt did not do a good job at coverage..now I'm an "older" bride..will be 37 in a few months so I have somethings i would like to cover up....Enter TANNING BED & SUN WARNING HERE...YOUNG LADIES DO NOT RUIN YOUR SKIN! YOU WILL HAVE LOVELY SUN SPOTS THAT YOU WILL HATE!......Ok back to story ~ plus I thought the application of the airbrush was kinda spotty & not very uniform. My eyeshadow was great though ~ she did a good job with the blending & depth. I wanted neutrals/browns to bring out my blue eyes and it did ~ if that is you could EVEN SEE MY EYES!!!! I have small eyes..we talked about it & when I got home & took picture of me smiling all I could see were these black spider like catipillers on my eyelashes!!! ha! It was scary! It wasn't that bad when I was looking at them at her place ~ not smiling but got home & WOW! Actually that is what my FI said and not in a good way! ha!

So found Makeup Artist #2 today & THANK THE LORD! She was wonderful! No airbrush no lashes just a nice fresh face that highlights my baby blues without all the goop! We are having an outdoor 2:30 wedding & I love what she did for me!

Moral to the story Girls....MUA are like guys & wedding dresses...you might have to go through a few until you find THE ONE! ha!
