ok, its 90 days to the big day…im super self conscience about my underarms…I lost a bunch of weight some time ago, but i (oops) didn’t excercise religiously like i should have…so now i have the underarm jiggle going on lol…anybody have any recommendations that tackle this…fast, or at least good?! Im starting the 30 day shred next week, but i want to add to it…

Sit on a chair, hold onto it with your hands then push your hips forward off the chair. Dip away 🙂 Keep your legs bent for the easy version and then straighten once you get the hang of it. Three sets of 10-12, then you can add on as it gets easy. Tricep push ups are another one that’s easy and doesn’t require any equipment.
One word of caution though – the 30 day shred is likely to be enough. It actually is possible to do too many toning exercises and your body doesn’t need more than enough. When I talked to a personal trainer before my wedding to get my routine together she told me to just do it twice a week. Overdoing it is likely to backfire. Good luck!

My new fav (since I started teaching water fitness) is “bicep” curls in the pool. If you are a gym member with a pool, see if they have water dumbbells (usually made of styrofoam), go into chest deep water and do traditional bicep curls (same as you do on land). With the water resistance, it gives you a great tricep workout.

Hand weight are great for this. Do a search on youtube for “tricep kickbacks” or even tricep exercises and you should be able to find some great results. I always like the videos so I can make sure my form is correct.

I have been using the DVD One-On-One Training with Jackie Warner. I got it off of Amazon for under $10 bucks. I do the arms segment with just 3 pound hand weights every day. I’ve only been doing it for about 2 weeks and I already see a difference. My arms are thin, but flabby/not toned. If I keep up with this, I think I will be happy by wedding time next month.
