So I have a top runner which is the DB Vera Wang Georgette– I know some bees dont like that style, but I felt it flattered my body the most! I am still going to look at one more high end boutique to see if I find anything I love more… But I stopped into a bridal shop today and tried on a few more styles. I wanted to post pics to see what the general consensous is…
Also, If you have any recommendations, please feel free to post them!
TOP RUNNER GEORGETTE:
DB VERA WANG DRESS 2:
There are 3 dream dresses I would LOVE to try on, but cant seem to find them in my state… I have considered going the Jasmines replica route for these, but Im scared to do so without trying them on.
Inbal Dror: This is a replica Mid production pics Jasmines is making for another bee right now:
Lazaro dress another bee is wearing:
Pronovias Duende another bee is wearing:

I LOVE the first two on you! I think you’re right – they’re the most flattering on your body type (though you look great in just about everything!) I voted for #2 because I think the ruching on the bodice is super romantic and gorgeous. Good luck deciding!!

@capitalbee: i agree.
@Barbiestylez: i like #2 and #1 the best.

I was surprised to agree and love number 1 on you! Number 2 is also good.
Those last three are to die for, and I never say that.

I’m perplexed why there are so many votes for #1. While the skirt is beautiful, the bodice looks unfinished or like it is a slip to be covered by an overlay or additional details. I prefer #2.

@AmeliaBedelia: thanks ladies! I think the mermaids just look best on my body type…. the others dont do much for me… I love the bottom 3 too. So far the georgette is my top pick… but I still dream about those bottom 3:(

ughhhhh you have so many wonderful options to choose from!!!! But i will try my best!!!
Dress #1: looks amazing on you, love it!
Dress #2: not a fan of halter tops. nice but not my fave.
Dress #3: love the top but the skirt kinda looks like curtains.
Dress #4: the detailing on the back is just wow. love it! I would consider making the front less low cut, but overall gorgeous. i may be a little dramatic, but maybe adding a little bling to the front would be nice? like beading in the neckline to match the back??
Dress #5: Vey pretty, but a little pageant-y.
Dress #6: classic dress. elegant & definitely can’t go wrong.
I would also be skeptical about getting a dress you can’t try on. However, the Lazaro dress is AMAZING. it *might* be worth the risk, but you’ve already seen some pretty fabulous dresses on you, you don’t need to go the replica route…

I think the georgette is lovely except for the weird seam half way down, because of that, I prefer the other vera wang dress.

@Barbiestylez: your body looks amazing in dress 1:))) I also love the last 2 dresses you posted and would have to see them on you but I do think they would both also look amazing:))) what a hard choice you are going to have.

@Bunni0929: thank you!
@mixtaperomance: Aww thank you!!! I am going to a boutique next week that carries lazaro — so Im praying they have that dress. Who knows, I may love it or hate it! Im calling tomorrow to check if they have it! But So far georgette feels most comfortable on, and i like the way my body looks with it. Plus its a size too big now and im trying to lose weight so hoping itll look even better then:)
@gingernutjo: I know, idk how to get rid of it:(

@Holly77: thanks!! I am going to think it over.. Hard decision!!!

@Barbiestylez: looove #5!! It’s Allure C241 by the way and the pictures don’t do it justice
Post # 15
@Barbiestylez: Dress #2! I adore dress #3 but sadly it doesn’t flatter your super nice shape the way dress 1 and 2 do.

1… Or 5 with a petticoat… There is a seam at your hips on #1. But with the whole “day of” look with modern hair and accessories, I think it could look more structured vs. strange.
