@ZebraPrintMe:  I’m in the US so don’t know if this helps because I’m not sure how prices usually run in the UK. The ring is almost the same style as mine except mine is straight rather than curved. I have a 2mm 1/4 ct. in 14k white gold. I think it was somewhere around $399. We don’t have 9k gold in the US (I’ve only seen it in imported jewelry at Irish specialty shops) so I have no idea if it runs more/less expensive than 14k. It does look gorgeous with your engagement ring though.

@ZebraPrintMe:  I think those rings look fantastic together! I’m not engaged yet, so I don’t really know the wedding band buying routine, but who’s to say you can’t get the band now and just hang on to it for 2 years? And I think the diamonds in it actually go well with the diamonds on the band of your e-ring, and they end right at the same point. It really looks like they were made to go together!

@ZebraPrintMe:  nope, we only have even numbers… 10, 14, 18, rarely 22k but at that price point you might as well go with platinum. Honestly I can’t tell the difference between them.

The wedding band does go nicely with your engagement ring! Can you put it on layaway? We don’t have 9K gold either (Canada). My son has a 9K gold ring inherited from his great grandfather.

(We also have 19K white gold – my wedding band and engagement ring – but it’s not all that well known here)

Depending on the price of gold, the ring may be more expensive in two year’s time if still available. The good thing is that you found a ring you love, so you can always have it custom made later.

@ZebraPrintMe:  where did you see it?… have you tried hsamuel they have loads of rings like that one and they usually have 2 big sales every year so its worth keeping an eye out…. also hsamuel do it as a payment plan too which is great means you can just pay off a lil bit each week, its worth having a look.

@ZebraPrintMe:  I think the band looks absolutely great with your e-ring! However, I’d be concerned about the band tarnishing being only 9ct gold (less gold, more other alloys). Maybe I just made this up lol, but that was my thought.
