Looking for some good reviews on honeymoons that aren’t your typical caribbean spots. We would be travelling in late July, and have a lot of miles saved up so we can go almost anywhere. Trying to go for about 2 weeks (maybe a little more). Have been looking into Australia, Fiji, Tahiti, Europe, Maldives. We definitely would consider anywhere else as well. Please leave some reviews/advice!

Hawaii is somewhat “typical” but not “Caribbean,” so I thought I throw it out there that our Maui honeymoon was amazing! 🙂 And with two weeks of time to travel, you could visit multiple islands.
But if that’s not what you had in mind, I’m at least bumping this for others to help. 🙂

I’m in the same boat – we’re looking for someplace tropical or exotic, definitely not the caribbean.

We went to Australia and New Zealand and LOVED it – we just got back! But if you’re traveling to the summer hemisphere in July, that’s actually their winter – so it would be pretty chilly in July. However if you can postpone the honeymoon until our winter (Nov, Dec, Jan being the best months) you will love their beaches and summer weather!

@Mrs. Wallaby: we were really considering Australia. Would have been perfect! I am a teacher so I am a bit constrained to the summer. Do you know if even northern Australia is cold during July? I know Sydney would be…
@Gemstone: we have both been too Hawaii and would like to go somewhere new. But it definitely is beautiful there!!
