Troubles Sealing Invitation Envelopes?

I used an envelope sealer to do mine, you can get them at the office supply store really cheap. It moistened it and adds a little extra adhesive and mine sealed great

@kat912:  Since we DIY-ed all our envelopes (meaning, we MADE them, haha… saved us a lot of money), we had to use glue sticks to assemble everything. We used a nice archival glue stick from Michael’s and everything held together great–mailed one to ourselves and have seen pictures of other people’s coming in as well. But PP’s suggestion sounds good too! Just letting you know a glue stick can work. 🙂

the glue stick i used let go after it dried. Use a permanent dot runner, you can find them at walmart. They never let go.

@kat912:  Some double-sided tape in the right place would work well too.

If you’re afraid they’ll pop open, they probably will.  Definitely use some double-sided tape or a glue stick to make sure they stay shut!

I’d also make a mock set and drop it on the ground from 8-10 feet a few times to make sure they stay shut!
