Oh ive read that one..its very good! I cant help you on where to start.. i read alot of books and have several true crime but Ann Rule is my fave
I love all true crime books. Double Jeopardy was about a case here locally, that was good. Also I like some of the super cheesy ones like "If Loving You is Wrong" about the Mary Kay Laterno story. Also I liked Mark Fuhrman's Murder in Greenwhich about the cousin of the Kennedy's who killed his neighbor. And Helter Skelter is always a classic. I will be keeping an eye on this thread for more suggestions over my Christmas Break!
ETA - I'm glad my 1000th post was about something I am so passionate about, haha.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm really enjoying all the true crime books lately. They kind of creep me out since they are true stories though!
@BoiledPNut: yeah I love them but sometimes I can "OD" on them. Like I just hit a point where it's too dark and depressing.
Oh also I love anything Dominick Dunne has written. Did you ever watch Power Privilege and Justice on A&E? He died a couple of years ago but they still show reruns.
@Natalieh86: I dont' have cable, but is it on Netflix or Hulu? If not, I'll see if my FI can find it somewhere. ;)
Have you guys read "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"? Very bizarre story.
I LOVE True Crime, my favorite leisure read. I have on my fifth book about Ted Bundy. I've read a lot of different ones. Most recently, my dad (where I get the love from) had me read one about murders in Texas called Scream at the Sky. Very good read

Do any of you read true crime books? What is your favorite book? I haven't read many, but so far it's Ann Rule's "The Stranger Beside Me". FI just got me a HUGE collection of true crime books and there seem to be some really good ones in there. Just curious where I should start!
