I love my trumpet. And I want to see all you pretty brides in this silhouette.
Mine's kind of right in between fit and flair and mermaid but here you go :)

Mine is a mermaid fit. It's funny because I told myself I'd get a ballgown. I Also will be getting a slip to make the dress stand out more.
My fit and flare Adorae often classified as mermaid. I don't really care what they want to call it, I just love it. 
And ignore how long it looks on the bottom, it's not altered yet for my shortness.
Pretty sure mine is classified as trumpet... there is no break in the skirt at all to make it mermaid and I think its too fitted throughout the hips to be called fit-n-flare?
I would love to see the webster's definition of each! lol

It was a rollercoaster journey but I think it all ended well! hehe
I actually wore the bolero for just the ceremony and all the posed photos but then took it off and traded it for a pearl/crystal cluster necklace at the reception...

@MrsArtsy: same dress?! REALLY?! Priscilla of Boston Platinum PL396?!? I've never met an exact dress twin! Where did you buy yours?! I got mine at a sample sale in Beverly Hills last Dec right before they closed their doors!
Priscilla of Boston gowns are collectors items now that the brand is retired So it's so exciting to hear about another bride with my same gown! :D

This was the store sample (mine comes in in Dec)..I bought a size up and please ignore the bottom it was SUPER LONG n flared out funny!
Will try on a sample of this dress Sunday and if I love it on me as much as I love it in the picture I will be buying it then. I can't wait!
The designer lists mine as a "fit and flare", I might lean towards calling is an asymmetrical dropped waist
@dallaslove: OMG it is! I am in LOOOVE with your flower sash. I kind of want to add a sash/belt but wasn't sure I could since it's all lace. But I love yours and might have to keep an eye out for something like it.
I could be wrong but it's my understanding that a trumpet breaks away at the hip/upper thigh, that the fit and flare is tighter through the hip and thigh and breaks away at mid thigh, and that mermaid is fitted to the knee before it flares.
@michiru4ever: oh that dress is stunning, I loveit! You look beautiful in it! With it's little sleeves and gathered bodice, it's just to die for. It suits your coloring.
This is my gown... As a tomboy, I find my choice hilarious & totally unexpected, but I LOVE it!!!
