I'm wearing a trumpet crinoline from David's Bridal, style 550 (it's not letting me post a picture for some reason, but you can go look it up on DB's website). It's definitely overpriced, but you can find gently used ones from ebay/craigslist/weddingbee if you have some time to look. I think wearing a crinoline/slip is the best way to really show off the silhouette of the trumpet/mermaid/fit and flare gowns. It definitely makes my dress look 10X better, and is well worth it! Hope that helps :)
You can find really cheap ones on eBay. I'll have plenty of alterations times once mine comes in and it's pretty much the "perfect" length, but, on the sample I felt like it kept getting in my way "inside." I may find a "small" one to give it that final punch.
I have a "mermaid" but it looks more modified A

Ok hive. I've purchased my dress and it has a beautiful, fitted, trumpet skirt. I'm not sure what to wear underneath, at least in terms of "fluffing out" my trumpet. Are you all wearing crinoline or petticoats or something of the like? I could probably get by with no slip but I wanted to know what you all were doing.
