Hello all! I need your opinions.
I am deciding on a trumpet silhouette dress. In my opinion, the trumpet shape looks best when it fits like a glove all the way down until it flares. That’s how this dress is fitted in all the print ads you see of the dresses…but those models only need to stand there for the photos. How do you fit the dress so that it hugs you…but still has enough room to walk down the aisle?
The seamstress doesn’t want to go too tight into the thighs…but I feel like it’s compromising how chic it looks and the way it elongates.
Former brides who had the trumpet/mermaid silhouette, any advice from your experience? (Regrets, solutions, triumphs…all stories welcome!)
