It depends but usually 10-15%. Most of the stores I went to in NY and NJ just had a lot of that particular designer’s dresses and offered the discount but, honestly, it was no big deal bc there are so many bridal shops in NJ and NYC.

I got 10% off my dress, which basically covered sales tax, but it only counts for the designer being featured. Those events are fun because you can try on more styles by that designer than are usually stocked in the store

@FoxyBride14:  in general, yes the entire collection will be in store. Plus some designers have a “limited” collection which are not even advertised online that you can find at these trunk shows.

I bought my dress at a trunk show and the dress shop said the designer usually gives some sort of “gift” and then 10% off. My gift was having a custom pattern made for my dress, so instead of using a size 14 dress pattern they will take my measurements and make a scubagal dress pattern. I then got 10% off in addition to that.
