Weddingbee boards

Tomorrow I have my second interview for a different job at my current company. And I did a little calendar stalking (I love shared outlook calendars!), and so far I'm the only interview that the manager has on their schedule for the next two weeks.

But, I'm trying not to get too excited, because I still have to jump the next hoop . . . and I'll be totally devastated if I don't get the position. I don't know how much longer I can continue to do what I currently do (and not go completely insane).

Fingers crossed! I'll update this post tomorrow . . .

2 hours to go! I've got butterflies!

@MissAsB - looks like we're now in the same boat! Hopefully some news within the next week or so, but at least I've learned that I'm one of 3-4 candidates (and I'm not competing against 50 other people).

The saga continues . . .

@His Barista - I think it went well. Hard to tell with those things, though. One thing that I'm hoping is in my favor is that I'm the only candidate who already works in the department. So I have all sorts of insider knowledge and it wouldn't take long for me to transition. But, I'm also lacking a couple skills, which are pretty easy to develop with experience. Hopefully they'll take a chance on me and give me the opportunity to prove that I can do this!

*sigh* Job FAIL. At least they waited to tell me until 2:30 on a Friday . . . and I already had a Happy Hour planned. So, in 2 hours I get to go drown my sorrows. Then I may partake in some retail therapy tomorrow - I got my tax refund and it's burning a hole in my wallet. I sense some new shoes and jeans coming my way.

Aw, sorry to hear you didn't get the job. Hey, maybe it would have been the wrong job for you. Sometimes things work out for the best!
