i’ve been trying to grow and keep my hair blonde until the wedding in oct because i’ve never seen myself in any other haircolor on that day, but i’m so used to switching up my color often that this has been the hardest task in the wedding planning thus far.
i love my blonde and have a hard time parting with it, but not so much that I wouldn’t grab a bottle of that bright red. my artistic side is itching and the hairstylist in me is really struggling! all i keep thinking is…”i do have 7 months to change it again…” but it would be kind of hard on my hair.
here’s a photo of what i have and a photo of what i miss!
i love being both…so ladies, maybe you can tell me?

I loooove the blonde on you. It makes your skin color and tattoo stand out so much! I’m very blonde myself and I’ve tried other things, but I only feel like myself as a blonde! I love the blonde on you!

I think you are adorable as a redhead! I’m sure your FI understands your need to change your haircolor since he has seen it before!

I love love love your blonde. What if you did a compromise and just put it some red peek-a-boo highlights underneath in sections? Then closer to the wedding it won’t be as harsh to turn it back blonde!

i love you in red… that the red i want for my wedding. or that red or black. i have change my hair color so much but i stopped because i was loosing my hair but i know that now that my hair is healthy again i want to change it for the wedding. you look lovely in both of the pictures but i prefer the red in you! 😀

yeesh! thanks, ladies, but so far we’re still 50/50!

Maybe do red highlights for a bit until the wedding? Both colors look good on you, but the blond really warms up your complexion. I understand the need to change your hair though! I normally have mine just below my chin and its almost to my shoulders now! I keep wanting to chop it off but there are only 2 more months until the wedding….maybe I’ll settle for some highlights as a change instead.

I’ve had EVERY color ….BARBIE blonde, dark blonde, sandy blonde, dark brown, light brown, dark red, stawberry blonde, red, not to mention tons of variations with highlights…
and I am going back to blonde (a natural blonde but with highlights…I’ll post an inspiration photo) but right now my hair is a light red.
hun, I feel your pain! 🙂 for the record, I loooove you blonde!!!
here is my inspiration hair and pics of me with both

I LOVE the RED! I love that it also matches the red hair on your tattoo.

@emily…i thought about doing the highlight thing, but i’m usually all or nothing haha. whatever it is, it’s got to be BOLD. 🙂 but maybe….
@sulli, seriously, i’ve been every natural color and unnatural color you can think of. platinum blonde, med blonde, dark blonde, highlighted blonde, every red/orange even yellow, brown, black, purple, pink, blue, teal…i think i have even made up colors? it’s ridiculous and shocking to anyone who has seen my timeline. the worst part about it, is that i like EVERY single color on me. 😛 but YOU my dear are absolutley stunning in blonde. 🙂
@klp….oh this hurts….:)

I like you as a redhead.
Funny that you bring this up. I spent a half hour in Sally Beauty Supply today with a bottle of bleach in one hand and Manic Panic Pillerbox Red in the other hand.
How I miss the days. I went with a much more responsible (aka boring) shade of light brown.

@ilikepink…ooooh it’s gorgeous. you can’t go back to that? pillarbox red is such a fabulous shade. it’s hard how some days you want the super fun, colorful hair but other days you know that it may not be practical…i’m sure you know it just as well as i do.

You look hot in red but so cute in blonde!!! Why dont you just use a filler or a toner…it wont last long but maybe long enough for you to get rid of the urge?

@Jenn- I’m hopefully doing a congressional internship this summer, then on to law school, so my colored hair days are pretty much over. *tear*
I just want one last fling with wild hair, but since my hair is naturallly black, I have to pretty much triple process to get to red.

@jenny, i could possibly? the color i use to achieve that red is so outstandingly bright and lush, and thats what i love about it. it is also semi-permanent…so you think it would be easy to remove but it really acts like a permanent. so it’s really a toss up. my hair fades quickly but i know that red is kind of difficult to remove. too many decisions. 🙂
