well BP is paying for the clean up, soooo unless you just want to make a donation to any animal shelter or conservation group.... it would go to BP which i am sure you dont want to do. my suggestion would be to give to a group like these two:

I don't know if BP is actually paying the companies for the clean up right now. Places might have to pay out of pocket to save the animals and be reimbursed by BP. So I think a local conservation would be a good idea so they can care for animals even if they aren't getting enough money from BP yet.
spaganya- Thank you so much! I emailed all three organizations, and the 2nd one is taking donations specifically for the oil spill so that works out perfectly!!
If you are still looking for a donation, try aspca.org. They are down cleaning animals. I live in the parish that everyone is based out of for oil spill. I've seen their vehicles at the local shelter to clean animals.

Does anyone know of a place, like a vet or some other company, that is helping to clean the oil off the animals in the gulf? i want to make donation favors, and I think that would really help out some small little group of people. or a large group. Either way, I can't find any info!!
