I am having a hard time trying to find an Art Deco-ish type of dress for the wedding. I’m short 5ft3 and wear a size 24W. Everything looks so sleek and body conscious. Was wondering if you ladies have seen any dress that looks Art Deco that is for a plus size woman?

I think that most of Jenny Packham dresses look Art Deco. They are beautiful and make them to your size, too.

Art Deco era dresses are usually drop waisted and sheath styles. You can try unique-vintage.com for some examples (bonus: they have a plus size section).

MrsUnderwood2be: I think the geometric shape at the bodice on Wtoo Isabella looks a little art deco: http://watters.com/Product/WtooBrides/10801/
But my wedding was also art deco inspired and I didn’t wear a dress to match it. I don’t think think too many people really connect the dots between the theme and the dress anyway so I’d wear whatever you love and feel most beautiful in.

MrsUnderwood2be: check these out, one is a beaded flapper dress, the other is a site that can make you an authentic 1930’s or 1920s dress made to measure.
I would also check on Etsy.com, there are sellers who will make made to measure gowns.
